Outback Splash 23rd November

Day Camp

Overcast skies and a few light showers couldn’t dampen the fun at our final family event for the year. 30 families gathered for a memorable day of games, laughter and friendly connection at Outback Splash.

Despite the weather being a little grey with a gentle sprinkling of rain throughout the day, spirits were high and the fun never stopped. From the moment everyone arrived, there was a buzz of excitement as families headed straight for the action-packed activities on offer.

The water slides, many splash zones and pools were the big draw card for most, where kids and adults alike had a blast enjoying some wet-and-wild fun. For those looking for a different kind of challenge, the many mazes kept many entertained and puzzled.

Elsewhere, mini golf brought out everyone’s competitive edge, with tricky shots and plenty of friendly rivalries. On the grass, lawn games and a sausage sizzle lunch offered a chance for relaxation or simply enjoying the outdoors together.

Thanks to Kristen and Loryn for organising such a wonderful day — your planning and enthusiasm made this event a success and gave our families another great memory together.

Also, a huge thank you to all the families who joined us across our various camps and events in 2025. It truly is our families who make Camp Autism the community that it is, and we look forward to welcoming you all back for more adventures in the New Year.
