Camp Rules

  1. As parents/carers you know your children best, so we ask that you pay close attention to your children and their triggers and manage their regulation appropriately.  We encourage an environment that is non-judgemental, inclusive and kind.  Please remember that a lot of fellow families have been through similar scenarios and are here to support you.  We want to ensure a safe and inclusive space for everyone attending the camp. Parents/Guardians/Carers must always be responsible for their own children AT ALL TIMES, this includes during all planned activities.
  2. All attendees must respect each other, the property of fellow camp attendees and the complex we are using. Take note of what time things close like pools or bouncy pillows. Do not let your children go to places that are closed.
  3. Please respect camp equipment.  If you want to borrow a piece of equipment e.g. games or fishing equipment, please return it after you finished with it. All equipment must be back to camp hosts by 8am on the day of departure.
  4. Don’t forget hats, sunscreen and mosquito deterrent. These are your responsibility.
  5. Do not allow your children to enter other attendees’ accommodation without their consent. Know where your children are. If some else’s child is at your accommodation, please communicate this to the other parent.
  6. The itinerary set by camp organisers is not compulsory and you are more than welcome to participate as much or as little as you would like to.
  7. Please try to attend the Saturday night dinner, this is a time for everyone to get together for a meal.
  8. Camps will differ depending on location and facilities available.  The itinerary that is sent out prior to the camp will provide information on which meals will be provided and what activities are planned.
  9. People are asked to drink responsibly.
If any attendees are seen to be behaving in an unsafe manner or you are feeling uncomfortable about something, please approach the camp hosts who will assist.
