Quiz Night Fundraiser
What a night it was for our latest event, the Camp Autism Quiz Night fundraiser at the amazing Nostalgia Box in West Perth with an incredible $3700 raised for our future camps.
Many of our camp families, friends and work colleagues gathered for a fantastic night of fun, laughter and friendly competition. From the brilliant team spirit and challenging trivia questions to the amazing prizes and raffle draws, the room was filled with energy, generosity and community spirit.
Our enigmatic host for the evening was Dave, owner of the Nostalgia Box whose masterful skills on the mic and endless enthusiasm ensured everyone will remember this night for a long time.
We were blown away by the generosity of local businesses and sponsors who collectively donated over $4000 in quiz and raffle prizes for our families to battle it out for. We would especially like to thank Dovetail Therapy for sponsoring the night, and Don Asplin for his very generous donation towards the costs of the event and the quiz cash prizes. Thanks to these benefactors, all proceeds raised from the event were able to go directly back to the organisation and our future camps.
Also thanks to our winning team on the night, Camp Smartism, who took out first place in the quiz, and then promptly donated the entire $200 prize back to camp. Thank you so much, the community spirit is truly alive and kicking.
Huge thanks and congratulations to Tiff for organising an amazing night, not just in terms of for how much was raised towards our camps, but also for how everyone enjoyed the night. This is all down to the countless hours you spent contacting companies for donations and prizes, and ensuring that every detail of the night was planned and executed perfectly. Your passion and commitment were appreciated by all. Thanks also to Loryn for helping to sell raffle tickets on the night, and Cliff for running the bar ensuring everyone was well watered throughout
