Busselton Camp 2025

7th - 9th November

Busselton Camp 7th - 9th November

Camp Duration: 2 days

Our final weekend camp for the year turned out to be our biggest one ever. 30 families gathered together, including 9 families joining us for the very first time. Busselton turned on its best weather for the weekend: warm, sunny days and clear skies from start to finish, setting the perfect backdrop for connection, play, and relaxed family time.

Families spread out across the resort and the foreshore, enjoying a full line-up of activities. Night fishing was a highlight for many, with plenty of excitement (and a few tall tales!) shared on the beach and back at our base.

Archery and mini golf brought out friendly competition, while our art-on-the-beach session gave everyone a chance to slow down and get creative in the sunshine.

Back at the resort, families made the most of the tennis courts and the pool, rounding out the evening with a cosy movie night featuring Lilo & Stitch.

This camp also marked a significant moment for Camp Autism WA — it was Kat’s final camp as President. Siran delivered a heartfelt presentation to honour Kat and her children, recognising their years of commitment, leadership, and the countless hours they’ve poured into building our community. It was a warm and emotional farewell, surrounded by the families who have benefited so much from their contribution.

A massive thanks to camp hosts for the weekend, Kat, Siran, and Jacqui, who kept everything running smoothly and ensured families felt welcomed and supported throughout.

Busselton was the perfect way to close out our 2025 camp calendar: relaxed, sunny, full of laughter — and a meaningful celebration of one chapter closing and a new one beginning.
